Additional Information & Tips

- If there is anything else you would like or prefer I will gladly tailor make a package for you.
- I prefer to meet up before hand so schedule a meeting with me to present my portfolio and discuss the finer details of your Wedding.
- All Photos are taken in High resolution and with the latest Camera technology, so you can make good quality reprints from it.
- All Packages will include some Black & White, Sepia, Vintage and Creative photos to make it Classy and Romantic from software such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom & Corel Draw.
- I will be there to photograph all the important moments from your make-up, ceremony, photoshoot, reception, first dance, and to round up, the cutting of the cake.
- Remember that there must be a time and a place to bring families and friends together for photos that are important.
- One of the biggest set backs to the Photographer comes when a bride is slow getting ready and opportunities of beautiful images becomes a rush to get to the church on time.
- Don't waste time trying to get every last combo of grandparents, siblings and cousins. Stick to a few important shots, and ask your maid of honor or another member of the wedding party to help orchestrate them on the day of the Wedding. That person can gather the people needed,
direct them on what shots they will be in, and then release them when they are done. It keeps things moving quickly, smoothly, and enjoyable.
- Try not to sweat the small stuff, like a relocation of your portrait shoot because of rain or your flower girl melting down during the family shots. And allow me the photographer to keep you on schedule, to frame the shots and to know what will look best -- remember, that's why you
hired me. If you're always looking for the camera, it won't capture you quietly chatting with your new spouse or laughing with your friends. I should be the one worrying about capturing those moments -- not you!
- Tell all of the individuals walking down the aisle to look up and smile. If they are too nervous to smile, they should at least keep their head up and stare down the aisle.
- No matter how many shot lists you draft or prewedding talks you have with your photographer, there may be a few photos that just never come to be on your wedding day. Maybe there isn't one of you and all your cousins, or your grandparents dancing. The day moves quickly and things happen.…but that won't matter because you'll end up with 10 other amazing ones that no one could have planned for.
- Plan your photo schedule with me (the photographer) well in advance of the wedding day.
- It takes a long time for photos to come back after the wedding due to so many weddings I have to capture. The morning after your wedding,
you'll be desperate for photos, but candid snaps from your family's and friends' smartphones will have to suffice until you get back the
professional pics. You'll constantly replay the events of the day in your mind, especially of those moments you've only heard about (like how your groom was tearing up before you even walked down the aisle). Try to be patient. Although you may get to see a few proofs earlier on
depending on your photographer, it can take weeks up to 7 weeks between saying "I do" and getting the bulk of your pictures but when you do,
it'll be totally worth the wait.
- There is a lot to consider in terms of photographing and natural light. Certain times of day are more photogenic than others (midday sun casts harsh, unflattering shadows on the face while late day sun casts a beautifying warm glow on everyone.
- Pay attention and respect the schedule you and your photographer discuss prior to your wedding. Being an hour late can make or break your images. Don't just assume it only takes 10 minutes.
- We have a name in the industry for a guest who shows up with pro photo equipment and takes 'unofficial wedding photos' -- we call him Uncle Bob. Uncle Bob may think he's doing you a favor by taking more shots for the couple, but usually he just gets in the way and makes us miss our shots. Tell Bob to leave the camera at home and just enjoy his time at the wedding without working. If there is someone that is eager to learn let me know before hand so the two of us can discuss and I can give a tip or two on some good shots.
- The best photos are those natural unplanned moments that come from real emotion.
- But most important of all. Have fun, you won't even realize I'm snapping hundreds of pictures of you. Be in the moment. Be hopelessly in love with each other and the pictures will turn out smashingly.
- All Packages includes travel expenses in the Gauteng Region. Outside Gauteng prices can be discussed. Also do check the T&C's.
- If you want a Package that doesn't include a Photobook/Coffee Table Book, I can always send you those Photobook Packages via e-mail.
- Or if you simply want to have a Photobook/Coffee Table Book at a later stage, you are welcome to do so. I keep all photos for a period of 5years.
- Do not hesitate to contact me should you require any further information or for anything that is unclear to you.
